◆ Ventilator Circuit:-

A breathing system & breathing circuit is a

medical device used to deliver oxygen and

remove carbon dioxide and deliver inhal- ational anaesthetic agent to a patient.

◆ Ventilator machine:-

Ventilator gently force normal air through

the breathing tube into a patient airway and move down into their lungs.

Mechanical Ventilation not only ensure that the patient receive sufficient oxygen but also helps to move out carbondioxide.

and other waste gases from lungs.

              

               Ventilator Setting

Mode:-Pressure Controlled ventilation

● Respiratory rate:- 10-15b/minute

● Tidal Volume:- 6-10ml/kg

● PEEP:- 0-2 cmH2O

(Positive End Expiratory Pressure)

● Trigger sensitivity:-2h/minute

◆ Ambubag:-

A bag valve mask sometimes known by the proprietary name

AnbuBag or generically as a manual redistrtrictor

self inflamating bag is a hand held device commonly used to provide positive pressure ventilation to patients who are not breathing adequately.
